Your Holiday

It's a  totally different way of life!
You cruise at a leisurely four miles an hour. You are free from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There is no need to race past picturesque towns and villages. You can stop where you like, when you like and explore the lovely countryside of Berkshire and Wiltshire.

Never been boating before?
When you arrive, a member of our Reading Marine Co team, all experienced boatmen, will show you around, how to drive the boat, how to operate the simple controls and what the rules of navigation are.

A practice run
Under expert guidance, you will have the opportunity to steer the boat, to manoeuvre and to satisfy yourself that you are able to take charge.

Facilities on board
What you will find on board is what you are used to at home - running hot and cold water, a fully equipped galley - although at home we would call it a kitchen! Shower, flush loos, central heating and electric lights. In the galley you will find a full range of equipment - cooker, 'fridge, cooking utensils, crockery, glassware - everything you need including your tea towels. And in the cabins, duvets, sheets and linen.
